Satinwood (Chloroxylon swietenia)

Color: Heartwood is light to golden brown. Sapwood is a little paler in color than the heartwood.

Characteristics: High luster, interlocked grain with a fine texture, difficult to glue, turns and polishes well.

Uses: Cabinets, furniture, decorative veneering.
