Canarywood (Centrolobium)

Color: Heartwood is yellow or orange, usually variegated with yellow, orange, red and some purple streaks.

Characteristics: Texture fine to rather coarse. Crain is straight to irregular.

Properties: Has a high resistance to termites and decay fungi.

Uses: Canarywood is easy to work with and is often used for furniture, flooring, doors, millwork, musical instruments and small accessories.
